Our Gîte at Le Grand Cailleau is a nice accommodation. There is place for maximum 6 people. 4 Adults and 2 children. There is a new swimmingpool with romanstyle staircase.

In the kitchen there is a electric cooker, a microwave with grill, fridge with freezer and waterboiler.

Unfortunately we cannot cater for specific disabilities although care has been taken to make the gîte as accessible as possible. Please contact us should you have any specific enquiries prior to booking.

There is parking for one car by the Gite, should you wish to bring 2 vehicles please contact us when making a reservation.

At Cognac you can visit the cognac premises like Remy Martin, Martell and Joseph Guy. You can also visit the many Cognac Distilleries near by and taste the locally produced Pineau Charente, cognac and wines.

Domaine Le Grand Cailleau is located near the Atlantic beaches. At about 30 minutes with the car you can enjoy the beach of Saint George the Didonne, at about 45 minutes you're in Royan where you can also visit the Zoo Palmyre.
At the thermen Heurtebise in Jonzac you can mix health with pleasure, and enjoy the 61° warm water from the Soenna spring.
The Seugne river is nearby, which is great for fishing.
